The collaboration between Fred Lip and Lionel Terray, a high mountain guide, gave birth to the Himalaya, a watch model of exceptional reliability and resistance for the time. It was with this watch that Maurice Herzog climbed Annapurna (8091m) in 1950 alongside Lionel Terray and Louis Lachenal.
The LIP Himalaya 671242 watch is a classic men's watch. Its dial has a seconds counter sub-dial at 6 o'clock. The 40mm golden case in polished steel is worn on a black leather strap.
